All-on-4® Dental Implant Dentures
Thanks to modern dental implant technology, you can now comfortably enjoy your favorite foods and speak, smile, and laugh without worrying about your dentures slipping or moving around in your mouth. All-on-4® dental implants are a great option for anyone who is looking for a long-term tooth replacement.
Anyone who has lost their full set of teeth can benefit from having All-on-4 implants. However, before choosing this as a treatment option, your dentist will discuss expectations and risks to make sure these implants are the best option for you.
All-on-4 Dental Implants Can Restore Your Smile
If you have a complete denture or are missing most or all of your teeth, All-on-4 may be the restorative option for you! All-on-4 dental implants are full-arch fixed dentures that feel, look, and function just like natural teeth. All-on-4 implants use four implants to replace missing teeth in the top and bottom of your mouth. An affordable long-term solution, these implants also preserve your jawbone.

If you have missing teeth and want a more stable solution than removable dentures offer, All-on-4 tooth implants may be the answer you’ve been looking for. To schedule an appointment with Dr. John Chen, please call our Aurora dental office at (303) 627-5755.
Missing teeth can drain you of your looks, ability to chew, and the ability to speak clearly. The good news is we have options for restoring a missing tooth.
All-on-4® vs. Dental Implants
The All-on-4 dental implants use only four implants to support a full arch. Traditional dental implants, on the other hand, use six to eight implants in each arch. The All-on-4 process allows our Aurora dentist to avoid bone grafting in many cases.
All-on-4 dental implants save our patients time and money.
All-on-4 Dental Implants Look and Feel Natural
The perfect candidate is someone who already wears replacement teeth, like dentures. Or someone who will need a lot of teeth restored in the near future. We also evaluate the health of the patient and go over their smile goals before we start the procedure.
With proper care and maintenance, most tooth restorations can last a long time. These dental implants look and function like regular teeth, and with a little extra care to make sure they are clean, you will be sure to enjoy them for a lifetime.
The benefits of All-on-4 include:
- Permanent tooth replacement that cannot slip or be removed
- Implants cannot be taken out or need adhesives
- They do not rest on the gum line, which can create soreness
- Implants are sensitive to food temperatures
- Allow patient to bite and chew
- Stimulates bone growth
- Restores harmony to facial features
If you are ready to restore multiple missing teeth permanently, you may be interested in All-on-4 dental implants. Call Uptown Comprehensive Dentistry and Prosthodontics today and speak with Dr. John Chen about your options.
Yes, you can eat steak, apples, and other favorite foods with dental implants. Unlike other tooth replacement options, dental implants are anchored directly to the bone, so they are stable like natural teeth. No shifting or rocking. No slippage at all!
About Dental Implants in Aurora, CO
Dental implants are titanium posts that stand in for lost tooth roots. They integrate into the jawbone, creating a stable underpinning for a replacement tooth (crowns) or a prosthetic (implant-denture or bridge).
Dental implants are the closest replacement to natural teeth. You even treat them the same way:
- Brush at least twice daily.
- Visit your dentist every six months.
With proper care, they have been known to last a lifetime.
Teeth-in-a-Day or All-on-4®
If you have complete or substantial tooth loss, you may be a candidate for All-on-4, which is an implant denture. In some cases, your prosthodontist can place this prosthetic in one day.

A single dental implant may take several months to integrate with your jawbone. However, the actual healing (recovering from implant placement) typically only takes days or up to a week.
Fortunately, surgery discomfort is typically mild and is easily treatable with a store-bought pain reliever.
The Process for Dental Implants
First, your Aurora dentist assesses you for tooth replacement to determine whether implants are a suitable option. You may be an immediate candidate or require pretreatments, such as bone grafting.
If implants are not suitable, your prosthodontist will talk to you about alternative options, such as a dental bridge.
If you move forward with implants, we plan your surgery.
The implant itself is a titanium post that replaces your lost tooth root. After post placement, the healing begins. In other words, the implant will fuse with the jawbone over the next several months.
For patients with full or significant tooth loss, talk to our prosthodontist about implant dentures, also called teeth-in-a-day or All-on-4®. In this case, we use approximately four implants per arch to secure a denture to the jaw.
